Thank you for trying Smart Trader!

·Is it M15 or 1H timeframe to be used?
Smart Trader works well on all timeframes. It is timeframe independent, so choose any timeframe you prefer.

· The StopLoss setting 2x(ADR) is confusing me. I thought that the setting should be “2” in the iStoploss, and that would automatically set my stoploss to 2XADR? A friend told me that I must myself calculate this. On your blog from July 6th there is some figures for this. EURUSD for an example has a ADR of 1329 (x2). Does that mean that I must put 2658 in the iStoploss setting? (or 265.8?)

With the newest version of Smart Trader 1.1, the stop loss is calculated using the Average Daily Range (ADR) shown on the chart. So, you are correct that 2.0 as the stop loss setting will be 200% of the ADR. And 1.5 would be 150% of the ADR. In our previous versions, each trader had to calculate this number in micropips. And remember, the setting of 200% of the ADR is a suggestion and you can feel free to adjust the Stop Loss lower or higher if you wish.

· I could not read what iConservative setting actually do with the EA? Could you please explain this? What setting is recommended (true or false)

The Conservative setting forces the EA to place fewer trades, and some people use this setting to trade more lots with fewer max orders.

· I could not read what iInstantOrders setting actually do with the EA? Could you please explain this? Does it have something to do if I have an ECN broker?

Yes, some brokers allow instant orders and some do not.

Your blog is making me a bit worrying, since there is no updates since May. Just want to know for sure that this EA will be living for a while since the cost is not so low

You are correct, the blog has not been updated recently. This is partially due to the new results page (click on Results on the homepage) that updates every day.
But you do not need to worry about us going anywhere. Our group has been trading for the last 8 years and we started developing EAs over 4 years ago. We are here to stay! The Smart Trader EA (currently version 1.1) continues to get cosmetic upgrades, but the way it trades hasn't changed for 18 months.

What would you say the top performing pair is right now?

The best pair for Smart Trader depends on which broker you are using (because of the different spreads).
If you are using FXDD: GBPJPY, CADJPY, USDCAD, GBPUSD
If you are using ATC Brokers: EURUSD, AUDJPY, CADJPY, USDCAD

Thank you for your questions, we appreciate that you asked them.
